The Valencia Circuit Street Will be the Gp and F3 Setting

The Valencia Street Circuit will receive the next July 26 and 27 diverse tests, prior to the celebration of the European Formula One Grand Prix, which will take place the weekend from August 22 to 24, 2008. The Spanish Formula 3 Championship, the International GT Open and the Comunitat Valenciana Velocity Championship will guarantee the correct operation of all the elements that compose the Valencian urban circuit.
Around 20,000 people will be able to be witnesses of these races and starting July 1 the tickets will be put out for sale at the same points of sale that for the Formula 1, with an approximate price from among 20 and 60 euros.
The presentation act of these tests counted with the presence of the Consell Vice-President, Vicente Rambla; the Sports Councilman of Valencia’s City Hall, Cristobal Grau; the GTSport President, Jesús Pareja and the Valmor Sports representatives, Fernando Roig and Jorge Martínez Aspar.
The Valmor Sports President, Fernando Roig has been shown convinced that the European Grand Prix will be "a flat success and will mark a myth in the Formula One". For it, Valmor Sports has organized these powerful tests, some prior tests that will vouch for the Valencia Street Circuit for the days 22, 23 and 24 of August. Roig has manifest that these Championships will be celebrated only on Saturday and Sunday to disturb the most minimum possible the daily activities in the port of Valencia.
On the other hand, Vicente Rambla has cleared that "the big sports events carried out in the Comunidad Valenciana are a dynamic element of the economy". For the vice-president, "in this moment of economic crisis the events about sports, like the Formula One, have a good effect in the city of Valencia and in the Comunidad Valenciana".
Likewise, Rambla has indicated that the large events have a direct effect of 6,000 million of Euros and they generate more than 140,000 jobs in the Comunitat. “And one of these events that will generate wealth for the Comunidad Valenciana will be the Formula One Grand Prix of Europe which will take place in the Valencia Street Circuit", said Rambla.
Vicente also thanked "the big effort made by Valmor Sports and the Generalitat Valenciana so as Valencia and the Comunidad Valenciana have the best event of Formula 1 and that the Valencia Street Circuit be a successful reality".
In turn, the GTSport President, organizing business of the F3 competition and of the International GT Open, has assured that the Valencia Street Circuit is going to be the most symbolic circuit and a referring one in the motor sports world.
In his entire career as pilot and events organizer, Jesús Pareja has declared that he has never seen so much expectation at an international level before a race. He’s convinced that by its originality and characteristics the European Grand Prix is going to be a success.
Finally Pareja has indicated that these prior tests to the Formula One European Grand Prix will include an extensive international representation, since in them 25 nations will participate and will be retransmitted in 54 countries.
